Season Tips Off With Home Exhibition Against Carson-Newman

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee women's basketball team unveiled its 2024-25 non-conference schedule on Monday, August 20, 2024. The Lady Vols' slate features a pair of top-10 opponents in No. 2 UConn and No. 7 Michigan, as well as a challenging road trip to No. 15 Oregon.

Tennessee will open its season with an exhibition game against Carson-Newman on Sunday, October 27, at Thompson-Boling Arena. The Lady Vols will then open the regular season on the road against Middle Tennessee on Monday, November 4.

Tennessee's home opener is set for Sunday, November 10, against Chattanooga. The Lady Vols will also host ETSU, Belmont, and Western Carolina in non-conference play.

The Lady Vols' toughest road test of the non-conference season comes on Sunday, December 8, when they travel to Eugene, Oregon, to face the Ducks. Oregon reached the Elite Eight last season and is led by All-American forward Sedona Prince.

Tennessee will also face a pair of ranked opponents in non-conference play at home. The Lady Vols will host No. 2 UConn on Thursday, December 12, and No. 7 Michigan on Sunday, December 22.

The Lady Vols' full 2024-25 schedule, including specific dates and times, will be released at a later date.
